Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in relevant science and certification from nationally recognized certifying agency, or Master of Science degree in relevant discipline.
Certification from nationally recognized certifying agency, or Master of Science degree in relevant discipline.
Experience: Five years (5) relevant experience or equivalent required. With experience in Molecular Microbiology.
Interacts effectively with peers, internal and external customers.
Able to work in fast pace, often stressful, computerized environment.
Able to lift 10 lbs. and perform repetitive motions.
Job Description:
Supervises the technical operations of the laboratory, including resource and personnel management.
Creates constructive relationships to achieve mutually positive clinical, service, or business outcomes with peers, management, customers, and other RUMC departments.
Consistently achieves desired outcomes with a minimum of avoidable errors and problems, including minimum consumption of resources such as time, money and materials.
Ensures staff is given the opportunity to participate in continuing education activities.
Conducts laboratory in-services and staff meeting s in a clear and organized manner.
