Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelors degree in behavioral health related field or graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Experience:
Experience in QA, PI or Risk Management in behavioral health setting
License/Certification:
RN or LSW preferred
Other:
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
Job Description:
Coordinates the Behavioral Health Unit's Quality Assurance and Risk Management programs. Ensures compliance with local, state, federal and private agencies as relates to quality and risk management services. Provides leadership in the fulfillment of the program and the hospital's initiatives and expectations for areas of responsibilities and develops processes consistent with those goals. Responsible for coordinating the loss control efforts and advising management and administration on potential sources of loss and makes recommendations to minimize or eliminate exposure.
