Job Requirements:
RN with current Florida licensure Required (may be waived for other Licensed Clinical Professionals w/3consecutive years Risk Management leadership at an HCA-affiliated facility)
Certification in Patient Safety (CPPS) and CPHRM if not credentialed exams completed w/in 90 days hire w/certification w/in 12 months
FL LHRM
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, or related field required, Master’s Degree preferred
3+ years’ experience in Patient Safety, Risk, or Quality clinical education experience responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of clinical education programs
3+ years bedside nursing experience in acute care setting strongly preferred
Previous management experience preferred
Job Description:
Reporting to the VP of Quality, this individual is responsible for oversight of the hospital’s patient safety and risk management program including the coordination of all relevant activities as per the requirements of the Florida Statues, CMS and The Joint Commission.
