Job Requirements:
Candidates must be an RN and possess current/valid PA State RN license. BSN or BA degree with concentration in Risk Management or Healthcare; Master's degree required. Must have five years Hospital Quality Management experience. Six Sigma and/or experience in team facilitation and data analysis and display. Five years of hospital Risk Management experience. Knowledge of relevant governmental and regulatory healthcare standards. Previous experience with regulatory and accreditation agencies.
Job Description:
The Risk Management Patient Safety activities include: Incident/PCE, Claims identification and investigation; establishment of potential files (PCE), claims and litigation files; assist in litigation management needs. As the Patient Safety Officer responsibilities include the Hospital’s/Health System Patient Safety Program; Management of Intranet based event report system and State reporting systems; administering day-to-day risk management; conducting risk management education.
